Saint Gerard

Leaving his trade as a tailor, Gerard’s piety led him to become a lay brother where his abundance of humility and obedience produced countless miracles for those he ministered to. Once, when a young woman suffering a difficult labor was touched with Gerard’s handkerchief, her problems ceased and her baby was born safely.
