Saint Louis King of France
Louis was crowned king at the age of 12 and married at 19. He loved serving his people and founded hospitals, cared for lepers, and invited the poor to his palace for meals. Louis also reformed France's judicial system and promoted art and architecture. In humility, he presented his crown to Christ and said, "There is but one King of France!" Louis died defending the faith during the Eighth Crusade.
